Our Doves
We use pure bred White Logan Rock Doves; they are the only doves that have homing instincts. Any other dove cannot return safely to its loft and would get lost in the wild. After each release the doves return home where their food and water is waiting for them.

Releasing our doves
Our doves are restricted to fly a 50 mile radius of Plymouth. We don't fly under certain weather conditions as the safety of our birds is very important to us. All releases will be at our discretion, judged on the morning of the event.  If we should have to cancel the release due to bad weather conditions, you may still decide to have a photo opportunity with our doves. In this case we will still offer a 50% refund.

What will happen
Our doves will be waiting for you on location in charming cages and when it is time to release the doves, our handler will hand you the doves. Keeping one hand under the belly with the legs back, and the other hand over the wings. (Before you ask, it is very difficult for them to poop in this position so don't worry about that!) You will open you hands and they will fly away gracefully.
